Pietro Marras and Scotty Nguyen
During the WSOP Main Event, Titan Poker hosted in cooperation with IPoker Network the celebrity bounty tournament at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Each star had a $13,000 bounty put on their head, which equals the total value of the WSOP package.
This celebrity event featured some of the most famous names in the poker community and sent the Titan Poker qualifiers’ hearts racing even prior to kick off. The stars included the likes of Antanas “Tony G” Gouga, Neil Channing, WSOP 2006 winner Jamie Gold, Marty Smith, 1998 WSOP Main Event winner Scotty Nguyen and Montel Williams.
Twenty one iPoker players qualified online to compete with the pros for the big bucks. Any player who took out a celebrity was rewarded a $13,000 bounty, and the winner of the tournament was awarded $20,000.
Pietro Marras and Adriano Giuliani, two of our Italian Titan Poker players were very excited to take part in the action. All poker players dream about the moment that they can take on one of the big pros at the tables.

Matthew Hoffmann
One of our representatives at the tournament, Englishman Matthew Hoffmann, made it to the final table. He managed to finish 7th in this prestigious event – the best result of the tournament for Titan Poker. Well done Matthew!
Unfortunately none of our players managed to remove any of the bounties and therefore none of them automatically qualify for the 2010 Main Event – but we hope to see them all again at the next Bounty Side Event at the World Series of Poker in 2010.
iPoker is the largest non-US network in the world and Titan Poker is growing faster than any of the other leading poker rooms on the network.
