Davy Oxisoglou plans to sell his car and make a go at succeeding in poker. He has come to this conclusion following his experience at the tables at the Irish Winter Festival in Dublin. He won a ticket only package to the event at a price of $25 online through Titan Poker. At the time of his winning he did not fully comprehend what he had in his hands. He came to the realization that he was flying to Ireland only when Titan Poker VIP support phoned him.
He has been playing on Titan Poker for 4 years and has been online consistently for the past 2 years. Davy defines himself as a tournament player and enjoys playing the $1,500 freezout every night at 6PM. He enjoys it when there is a contingency of 300-400 players. Davy is definitely a quality poker player. He is patient and observant yet he knows when he needs to play aggressively. He hopes one day to be sponsored so that he will be able to play at as many offline tournaments as possible.
Davy’s goal for Day 1 at the Irish Winter Festival was to finish the day with a good average and make it through to Day 2. His tournament aims were to make it through to the main table. He almost made it through to Day 2, however he got caught up in the action during the level before last’s blinds. Davy pushed forward with A10 and went all in, losing to Triple 3’s.
