Irene van Loon receiving her prize money
Irene van Loon finishes Day 3 at the Irish Winter Festival in Dublin in the money. She finished in 14th place and took home 7,200 Euro.
When Irene was asked at the start of the day what she planned on doing at the tables, she replied “I am just hoping to double up”. She did find her lucky leprechaun and managed to continue advancing. At the first break Irene told a member of the Titan Poker media team that she had in fact discussed a feeling she had with Leon de Rouw. A feeling that she was in fact going to double up, if not triple up at the beginning of the day’s play.
After the lunch break Irene’s A9 all in was beaten by a KQ with a Q on the turn. She goes home very happy with the experience and she thanks Titan Poker for the good time that she had.
