Irish Winter Festival in Dublin
Once again it is that time of year and here we are in Dublin for the annual Irish Winter Festival at the City West Hotel. Titan Poker has sent 32 of it’s players from across the world to take on the best competition that the prestigious tournament has to offer.
This year’s tournament has undergone some restructuring. The starting stack amount has been increased from 10,000 to 15,000 chips. This change is a statement and it reinforces the position that the Irish Winter Festival holds, as it being one of the primary tournaments that Europe has to offer. This change in the starting stack amount leads to longer blinds and more importantly, a lot more play. The tournament will continue to retain the 60 minute blind levels.
Updates from the Irish Winter Festival are coming to you live from the Titan Poker blogging team at the City West Hotel Convention Center. You can continue to watch this spot along with the Titan Poker Irish Winter Festival 2009 page. In addition there are continuous Tweets on Twitter – look for Titan Blog.
There have been a few more entries since the start of play and therefore the current amount on the boards indicates a prize pool of 597,000 Euro. We will continue to keep you in the loop.
