Jeanluc Dutto finishes in the money
Jeanluc Dutto finished in 16th place and takes home 5,600 Euro on Day 3 of the Irish Winter Festival. His first objective in the tournament was to get in the money and this he achieved. His primary objective was to get to the final table but he unfortunately did not attain this goal.
He did not sleep well last night since he was constantly thinking about the game and he arrived stressed to the City West Convention Center for the start of play. All in all he gave a good run and he represented Titan Poker honorably.
His most memorable hand of the tournament was an all in against Jamel Maistriaux from 770 Poker towards the end of Day 2. Jeanluc had KK against Jamel’s 77 and he happily called Jamel’s all in. This moment when he doubled up in Dublin sticks in his mind.
Jeanluc plays poker according to the position of the players, the size of their stacks and the personalities at the table. He enjoys analyzing the players – he does not always just rely on the cards.
When he plays tournaments online, he will always have one cash table open on limit. Jeanluc enjoys the challenge over the money in poker – he loves the competition. He is always looking to be number one. At least he was the last French player to be out of the tournament.
Dutto is no stranger to live events. He finished third in Dublin last week at the IPO in Dublin. He is now trying to qualify for the ECPokerTour in Malta. He does not plan on going pro for he sees poker as a hobby. His advice to players: “Never leave the table…even if you have one chip left. You can always make a come back. Keep a certain humility as a player.” That is how he stayed in the game at the Irish Winter Festival.
He is a VIP Diamond player on Titan Poker – nickname – lavalou. Jeanluc enjoys the Titan Poker VIP program and finds the support to be really sympathetic to the player’s needs.
