Middle of Level 4

We’re in the middle of the Level 4 (blinds 150/300), with 320 players left from the 357 registrated at 12:00 (still not an official number). The average count is: 35,500 chips.

A few notable players have already busted. Among them I notice Lex Veldhuis, Ludovic Lacay, Sorel Mizzi and Vanessa Selbst.

Aggressive Trickett Is in da House

Blinds 2,000/4,000, ante 400

Sam Trickett raises to 10K at the cut-off. The player seated in the small blind triples the bet.

Sam Trickett asks his opponent how much he has and announces “raise” and pushes 25K more (5K total). After a long two minutes, the floor is called for the clock and the small blind folds.

New level, blinds increase

A short break of 15 minutes just ended and we are just starting the level 11 at the blinds 600/1200 Ante 200.

171 players are remaining and the average is 67 388 chips.

Level 5 – Blinds 200/400 Ante 50:

All the table fold until Sam Trickett (cut-off) who raises to 1150. The guy on the button reraises to 2800 and Sam just calls.

The level 5 at blinds 150/300 Ante 25,  just started after a short 15 minutes break.

Yann Brosolo succeed to climb to 43 K without showdown.
His table broke and changed for the number 3 where Christer Johannson’s wife is seating.

181  is the confirmed number of players who registrated at the beginning of the day.

After 4 levels of game, 150 players are left for an average of  36 200 chips.

EPT PokerStars Vilamoura day 1A: first break

After 2 hours playing, the players are going in break for 15 minutes.

Team Titan Pro: Yann Brosolo took a good start in the event; indeed he is seating behind a little bit more than   40 000 chips  while Florian Desgouttes maintained his starting stack intact: 30 K.
Yann won a lot of small pot raising preflop or on the flop and had no resistance until now.

Sorel Mizzi is up to 100K before the Last Level of the Day

Ten minutes left before the end of the level 14 at the blinds 1200/2400 Ante 300 and Sorel Mizzi won few pots without showdown to reach the 100 K stack.

After this level, the players will play another level before going to sleep and come back tomorrow.
57 players left for an average of 85,789 chips.

Second Break after Four Hours of Poker Play

The players have now taken a 15 minute break.

At the start of Day 1A at WPT Barcelona 2010, 134 players were registered. At this point, 99 remain in the tournament.

Average:  20,303 chips

The blinds will increase to 150/300 at level 5  at the end of which the players will have a one hour dinner break.
