Sorel is going all-in and Titan Poker is going all out!!!
Sorel Mizzi is the latest big news for Titan Poker. The 24 year old poker legend from Toronto Canada is now the point man for Team Titan, the elite group of players representing the poker room across Europe and the globe. The 7-man group was of experience and success.
Mizzi has already graced the ECPT Barcelona and the Irish Open wielding the Titan Poker flag. He is definitely a force to be reckoned with – Sorel has accumulated over $2.5 million so far in his lightning poker career. Only last week, Sorel won the East Coast Championship in Borgata, Atlantic City. After three arduous days of play, he took home a crystal trophy and a gold bracelet for first place, along with a staggering $170,313.

The story of Lorna Lancaster can provide inspiration to all the budding poker players out there. After starting out on our freeroll games Lorna kept graduating up the stakes ladder to earn herself a place at the ECPokerTour in Barcelona. By keeping her cool she managed to finish in the money and went home able to breathe a sigh relief. Her story is best told in her own words:
My husband and I have been victims of the economic crisis. For us it started in April of 2009 when my husband was laid off from his job and unable to get another. He was able to get a 60 day contract job between October and November but that was all for 2009. We own a place and didn’t know how we were going to pay the bills. My husband went for an interview last year and got in a very unfortunate car accident which totally wrote off his car. Thank God he was ok but we were down to one vehicle and we managed with it.
