The PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) London 2011 Main Event attracted a total of 280 players on Day 1a and 411 players took their seats on Day 1b. Among the players who sat down at the tables on Day 1b were Team Titan’s Marvin Rettenmaier and Christophe Benzimra.
The tournament is taking place in the Hilton Metropole of London City and the structure is the usual one for EPT events. On Day 1, players start with 30,000 chips and there are one-hour levels.

Welcome to the Austrian Alps and the Alpine Palace Card Casino in Saalbach-Hinterglemm for the 10th stage of the European Poker Tour EPT circuit.
Yesterday, on Day 1A, 180 players took their places in the poker room of the casino and 102 survived to advance to Day 2. The young English player Martins Adeniya finished the day with the biggest stack, leading the players with 182,500 chips.

Going in to the final table, Arnaud Mattern was the chipleader and clear favorite for the title.
But in the end, the 27 year old Norwegian player Kevin Stani took the title.
Kevin Stani beat the Russian player Konstantin Bilyauer in HU and eliminated four players at the final table – first he busted out Steven Van Zadelhoff in 6th place, then the Russian Vitkind in 4th before giving a bad beating to Arnaud Mattern to fight for the title against Bilyauer. Read More »

The seventh season of the European Poker Tour has begun in Tallinn, the beautiful capital of Estonian.
The buy-in of €4,250 is one of the least expensive on the EPT circuit.
Day 1A of EPT Tallinn had 182 players registered, but only 89 managed to qualify for Day 2.
It is not a big field in terms of the number of players, but that’s to be expected as a lot of players are still on holiday after the WSOP in Las Vegas. Read More »
