Marvin Rettenmaier was the victim of a really bad action on the part of the dealer. He was involved in a pot (150K). He took his time to make his decision to call a bet on a river. A player asked for the clock and just before the end of the time, the dealer said: “5, 4, 3, 2, 1″ but in just 2 seconds! he took Martin’s cards. Marvin Rettenmaier contested this action and all the players at the table were really surprised but the cards were already mucked and the floor couldn’t change the situation.

Marvin Rettenmaier was really upset by that “stupid” action.

A few hands later, Marvin Rettenmaier eliminated a player for a 50K pot winning a flip: AK for the Team Titan player vs 99.

Board: 9-K-10-7-5

Marvin is still sitting behind a 650K stack.

Our Man Jucius – He’s Got Juice!

Day 1 of the World Series of Poker* Event #49 began yesterday at 12pm, Las Vegas time, with 2543 registered players. The four man Titan delegation included Team Titan member Marvin Rettenmaier from Germany, former Team Titan member Adam York from the United Kingdom, online qualifier Henry Schoucair from France, who won his seat through Titan Poker’s WSOP Warrior promotion, and online qualifier Antaris Jucius from Lithuania, who also won his seat at a Titan Poker side event.

Rettenmaier busted first, with York and Shoucair trailing closely behind. The day’s big surprise came from newcomer Jucius, who rose from total obscurity to become the only Titan Poker player who would progress to Day 2 of the event. Jucius’ glory trail continues tomorrow at table 361, seat 5, with a fat stack of 30,300 chips.

Good luck to our man from Lithuania!
