Alexander Debus Continues into Main Event Day 6

Marvin Rettenamaier  from Team Titan and Titan Poker’s online qualifier Alexander Debus from Germany took their seats at the start of Day 5 along with 376 other players. The action began at noon at the Rio Casino in the Amazon Poker room. The average chip stack was 544K and Marvin Rettenmaier was a bit short with 181K while Alexander Debus was better positioned with 455K.

1,864  players came back to the Rio Casino at noon today to play Day 3 of the 2011 WSOP Main Event. Among the players were five representatives of Titan Poker: Marvin Rettenmaier, Christophe Benzimra, Sam Trickett, Alexander Debus, and Andras Balogh. Three of them advanced to Day 4.

Five Titan Poker Players Advance to Day 3

2,490 players  returned to the action at the Rio in Las Vegas for the World Series of Poker Main Event’s Day 2B. They were competing for a chance to join the 805 players who qualified yesterday for Day 3 of  the tournament. Among the starters, we followed six Titan Poker players.

The three pro players from Team Titan, Christophe Benzimra, Marvin Rettenmaier and Sam Trickett started Day 2B respectively with 36,375; 47,700; and 36,000 chips alongside three online qualifiers, German player Alexander Debus (57.7K), Andras Balogh (65K) and Miklos Szuffa (13,950).

Rettenmaier and Trickett Advance to Main Event Day 2

The 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event attracted 897 players for Day 1a and a total of 985 players took their seats on Day 1b. These numbers are less than last year’s but no doubt there will be larger participation in the remaining two starting days.

Among the players who sat down at the tables on Day 1b were Team Titan’s Sam Trickett and Marvin Rettenmaier.

Marvin Rettenmaier Wins Golden Nugget’s Grand Finale

Taking a break from the 2011 World Series of Poker tournaments, where he has managed to cash out twice so far, Team Titan’s Marvin Rettenmaier headed across town to the Golden Nugget to play the Main Event of its 2011 Grand Poker Series.

Marvin succeeded in defeating a field of some 250 players in the $1080 two-day event and won first prize of $55,000. He even received a bracelet to mark the victory.

As Marvin posted in his own words, “BOOOM!!!! VICTORY!!!! Won the Golden Nugget Main after an intense 3-4h heads-up battle with the last German bracelet winner Jörg Peisert… “

Marvin Rettenmaier Finishes 40th in Event #36

Marvin Rettenmaier  was chip leader after the first day of play in the $2,500 No-Limit Hold’em event of the 1,734 players who started.
 
He came back to compete in Day 2 of the WSOP 2011 event with the biggest stack of the 296 players remaining. Marvin had a stack of 174.1K when the average was 44K.

Marvin Rettenmaier is Event #36 Day 1 Chipleader

Sam Trickett, Marvin Rettenmaier and Christophe Benzimra from Team Titan joined the action in the World Series of Poker Event #36 $2,500 No Limit Hold’em. A total of 1,734 players started the tournament, being held in the big poker room of the Rio – Las Vegas.

After ten 60-minute levels of play, only 296 survived and qualified for Day 2.  Marvin Rettenmaier emerged as chipleader after the first day of action. Read More »

Hi, I’m Marvin Rettenmaier from Team Titan, reporting on my experiences following the WPT Vienna. We drove back to the hotel and its 4pm now. I just woke up and wrote this, Marko and I are going to grab some dinner shortly and then we are going to the Montesino since the High Roller event starts at 5pm. I am not quite sure if I should play it yet, due to my cold and the tough field, but I think I will probably play it anyway.
