Team Titan member Florian Desgouttes is down to 43,000 in chips. Here’s what happened.

The UTG2 player raises to 950, Florian Desgouttes took a look at his cards and immediately tribet to 2,950 when he saw his QQ hand and the button player fourbet all in to 7,000.

Called by Florian hoping to catch the short stack.

Show down KK for the all in opponent.

Stephane, one of the Titan Poker players at the Irish Winter Festival 2010, bet 10,000  preflop with AQ vs QK.

Unfortunately the board reveals two Kings and our French player  is down to 28K.

The Irish Winter Festival 2010 tournament has started: 347 player registered for a buy-in of €1,650. The prize pool has reached the €520,000 but the registrations are still open and the payment structure not yet announced.

We are now on Level 4, blinds 100-200.  Players are fighting to stay in their seats and only 23 of them have been kicked out at the moment. we are now expecting a very long night of poker… but our players will be able to eat and drink very soon at the end of this level.

Irish Winter Festival 2010

Live from Dublin, 19 players from Titan Poker have started play at the opening of the Irish Winter Festival 2010 event. There are 3 members of Team Titan in the action: Marvin Rettenmaier from Germany, Joël Benzinou from Belgium and Florian Desgouttes from France.

16 Titan Poker players qualified via online satellites including the ex-Team Titan member Adam York from United Kingdom. There are 4 players from the Netherlands, 4 Italians and also Germans, Swedish, and Russians representing Titan Poker. They will compete against a large group of European players in the poker action on this beautiful Irish Island.

Marvin Rettenmaier - Titan Pro

Congratulations to Titan Poker team member, Marvin Rettenmaier from Germany, who made it to 3^rd place at the Partouche Poker Million in Spain.

At the beautiful Casino Grand Madrid, Marvin battled a tough field of players who all wanted a piece of the one million Euros prize pool.

Marvin gave a wonderful performance but busted out when he went all-in with 99 against 66 pre-flop. The flop came out K36 and the turn and river produced no miracles for him.

Marvin took home 31,000 Euros and a lot of prestige.

Sorel Mizzi

First one:  Sam raised preflop with pocket Nines and an opponent 3-bet him – Sam folded
Second one: Sam raised with AJ and a player 3-bet him and Sam folded.

Then the blinds increased to 500 / 1000 Ante 100 and Sam Trickett entered in action.

A Spanish player raised to 3 K in middle position. Sam Trickett reraised to 7.4 K and the Spanish man called Bozicevich (really Spanish!) called.

Flop 9♦7♥K♠

Sam bet 7.5 K and then the Spanish man entered in reflection.
After 5 minutes thinking, another player from the table asked for the “time”. One minute for the Spanish to take his decision. At the really last second Bozevich pushed all-in for 22 K.
Sam Trickett gave up the pot showing JJ. His opponent showed QQ and took the pot.

The next hand, Sam went all-in preflop after a 2,400 chips raise from the UTG player. He got called by his neighbor.
Both players had AQ and finally they split the pot.

And the next hand, the UTG player announced “all-in 9 K”. Sam Trickett in Cut-Off position shoved for 22 K.

UTG: AJ

Board: 8-3-9-Q-8 and Sam Trickett won the pot and after these 3 hands came back to 32 K.

It’s always a big pleasure to be back in Barcelona for the WPT tournament. We are here at the Gran Casino Barcelona (at few meters from the sea with a splendid sun outside) to cover the event in general and the adventures of the Team Titan players in particular.

Around 120 players are expected for Day 1A including four members of Team Titan: Sorel Mizzi, Marvin Rettenmaier, Joël Benzinou and Yann Brosolo.
