During the first hour, Sam played 2 hands:

First one: Sam raised preflop with pocket Nines and an opponent 3-bet him – Sam folded
Second one: Sam raised with AJ and a player 3-bet him and Sam folded.

Then the blinds increased to 500 / 1000 Ante 100 and Sam Trickett entered in action.

A Spanish player raised to 3 K in middle position. Sam Trickett reraised to 7.4 K and the Spanish man called Bozicevich (really Spanish!) called.

Flop 9♦7♥K♠

Sam bet 7.5 K and then the Spanish man entered in reflection.
After 5 minutes thinking, another player from the table asked for the “time”. One minute for the Spanish to take his decision. At the really last second Bozevich pushed all-in for 22 K.
Sam Trickett gave up the pot showing JJ. His opponent showed QQ and took the pot.

The next hand, Sam went all-in preflop after a 2,400 chips raise from the UTG player. He got called by his neighbor.
Both players had AQ and finally they split the pot.

And the next hand, the UTG player announced “all-in 9 K”. Sam Trickett in Cut-Off position shoved for 22 K.

Showdown:

Sam: 10 10
UTG: AJ

Board: 8-3-9-Q-8 and Sam Trickett won the pot and after these 3 hands came back to 32 K.

On the turn: 9♣ UTG + 1 bet another 5 K and got called by the Team Titan Pro.

And same action on the river, the 2♦.

UTG + 1 had decided to slowplay his Aces.

Sam trickett: 20 K .

I saw him playing 4 hands in a row and winning 3.

102 players left for an average of 28 235 chips.

The new French sponsored player Yann Brosolo played a bit more than 2 hours and thirty minutes in this tournament.

We can summarize his day in 2 hands:

First hand:

A player in early position raised to 400 at the blinds 75/150.

3 players paid and Yann squeezed with :Kc: :Qc: to 1875. Everybody called and 5 players went to see the flop: Ac-10c-6h

Yann Brosolo bet 3,900 and 2 players decided to call.On the turn, Kd, Yann Brosolo fired 5 K. Not enough to convince his 2 opponents to fold.

So, they were 3 to see the 6 doubling on the river. Yann Brosolo checked and the next player to act went all-in. The second player folded as did Yann.

Yann Brosolo lost this big pot and fell to a short stack of 6,000 chips.

The second and last hand of the French Team Titan player was really simple. Yann Brosolo raised UTG to 400 with pocket Queens. The big blind paid with K-2.

The flop came K-2-9 and his opponent checked. Yann pushed all-in and the big blind called with his 2 pairs.

Nothing to save Yann at the turn and river and it was all over for the WPT Paris 2010.

2nd break – 135 players left for an average of more or less 31K.

Let’s meet tomorrow at 15:00 to follow the action of Sorel Mizzi in Day 2 !
