1st Break of the Day at WPT

After playing for two hours at the WPT, Sam Trickett and Jonas Klausen have 18 K and 17.3K respectively.

WPT Day 1A Over! Sorel Mizzi More Than Survived

The Canadian Team Titan poker player, Sorel Mizzi,  spent most of his day fighting with a short stack. He succeeded in reaching the average after 6 hours of play to finally finish with a stack of 42,000 for an average of 33,200.

50 players remain in the tournament.

Sorel Mizzi will come back to continue playing the day after tomorrow for Day 2 of the WPT Barcelona tournament.

Dinner Break – What’s to Eat at WPT Barcelona?

The action was much slower during the last hour as players began to break for dinner.

Our three Team Titan members went to have dinner with more or less the same stacks they each had an hour ago:

Marvin Rettenmaier: 31 K
Yann Brosolo: 47K
Sorel Mizzi: 8 K

Average: 23,647 chips with 85 players remaining.

Blinds will be 150/300 Ante 25 after the break.

First Hour at WPT Barcelona

The first level just finished.

Sorel Mizzi and Joël Benzinou are seated at the same table with four other French players – not surprising since Barcelona is famous as a “French poker place” because of the large  numbers of French representatives. Sometimes we see even more French players than Spanish players at the big tournaments here in Barcelona.

Hi everybody and welcome to Barcelona!

It’s always a big pleasure to be back in Barcelona for the WPT tournament. We are here at the Gran Casino Barcelona (at few meters from the sea with a splendid sun outside) to cover the event in general and the adventures of the Team Titan players in particular.

Around 120 players are expected for Day 1A including four members of Team Titan: Sorel Mizzi, Marvin Rettenmaier, Joël Benzinou and Yann Brosolo.
